It would appear that Abraham Irish was the only son of Peter Irsh to remain in the Ernesttown area. Peter arrived in Ernesttown the year after his son Abraham, and lived there for seven years until 1802 with his family until he was granted 200 acres in the Township of Haldimand. At that time, as dates will bear out, his family moved with him except Abraham who was granted 200 acres in Ernesttown, and his daughter Sarah, who had married Weeden Walker and settled in Ernesttown, Lot 33, Concession 4, Ernesttown. Facts, dates and names have been checked from books and files found in the museums at Napanee and Adolphustown.

It is surmised that Sarah was unmarried and lived with her borhter, Peter Irish and his family. In the 1851 Census, she is listed in his household as "Sarah Irish, age 50". To date, this is the only reference located on her.
