He married Sarah Ann Stover 8 August 1852 in Ernestown Township, Ontario, daughter of John Stover and Charity Clark. She was born 6 January 1833 in Ernestown, Ontario, and died 4 December 1907 in Detroit, Michigan.

Notes for Finley Wilson Irish:
I've never found Finley's marriage registration, but it was mentioned in a
diary that has been indexed at the Lennox & Addington Archives in Napanee.
In 1851/2 census he was living at home, in the 1860 US census he shows up
with his parents (but minus wife and children) in DeKalb Co. IL, in 1861 and
1871 he's in South Dorchester Twp., Elgin Co., and in 1881 and 1891 he's in
Middlemiss, Ekfrid Twp., Middlesex Co. In Middlemiss, he had a brick and
tile business--one of many going at the time. He sold that (I'd have to dig
through my notes to find the year, but was early 1890's) and then moved to
Southwold Twp., Elgin Co., where he died. His wife at some point in time
later moved to Detroit where she died. She had a daughter and son-in-law
living there at the time, but she wasn't living with them. I have a photo of
Finley and Sarah.
