Research Medical Center. Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, at Park
Lawn Funeral Home; burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation 6-8 p.m.
Monday at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to Kansas City
Baptist Temple Building Fund. Mrs. Buck was born November 7, 1913, in
Innisfree, Alberta, Canada. She had lived most of her life in the Kansas
City area, and was a member of Kansas City Baptist Temple, and the VFW
Ladies' Auxiliary. She had been the Manager of Production at an Ammunitions
Plant during WWII, and had been a real estate agent for J.C. Nichols. She is
survived by her two sons, Dennis E. Rothacher, Raytown, MO, and Vernon E.
Buck, Seattle, WA, two brothers, George Nodwell, Tucson, AZ, and Eric
Nodwell, Independence, MO, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
