ERHARD GARRETT INDEHAVEN:
He was baptized May 12, 1681 at the Reformed Church inn Mulheim an der Ruhr. He came to America with his parents. Gerhard and his brother, Herman, bought 440 acres on the upper side of Skippack Creek, Gerhard built a grist mill near the village of Skippack, PA.

He was an Elder of the Reformed Church at Skippack, PA. in 1727. He signed his name "Gerhard in Hoven". He is listed on the 1734 Philadelphia Landholders List, he is living in Parkiomen & Skippake Twp., he owns 200 acres of land.

Matthias Tyson is listed on the 1734 Philadelphia County Landholders list, he is living in Parkiomen & Skippake Township, he owns 200 acres of land.

Matthias Tyson's will dated Sept. 2, 1758 was probated July 26, 1766.

Matthias emigrated to America before 1710, he settled in Germantown, Philadelphia Co. PA., he was naturalized in 1709. He bought 193 acres of land from Willian and Ann Christian Dewees a papermaker, and Cornelius and Margaretta Dewees.

Matthias Petitioned the Court of Quarter Session to lay out the Skippack Road May 13, 1712.

NTHONY SELLS:
Anthony lived in Bedford County, Pennsylvania, Baree Township where he is listed on the tax rolls for the years 1773, 1775, 1776 and 1779, from 1782 to 1784 the tax list showed him still in Bedford County but in Huntingdon Township. His son Ludwick set up a hotel and became active in Civil Affairs in this township.

There was an indenture in York Co., PA., dated May 21, 1751 which states: "Anthony Sell, farmer, of Little Conewango received title to 200 acres of land in "Diggs Choice" paid for by "his deceased father", Henry Sell". This indenture was recorded in Frederick Co., Maryland, June 7, 1751.

On Jan. 7, 1792, Anthony prepared his will naming his wife Catherine and his children. The original will, proved in Huntingdon County Court on March 2, 1792 was written in German. A copy of the English translation reads as follows: In the name of God Amen. I Anthony Sell, of the town of Huntingdon in the township and county of Huntingdon, in the State of Pennsylvania, husbandman, being considerably advanced in age, but in health of body, of sound mind and disposing memory, do make this my last will and testament. Unto my beloved wife Catherine on hndred pounds in gold or silver lawful money of Pennsylvania, to be put to youse by the Executor and paying my wife Catherine the lawful interest of said money yearly as long as she lives, and after her death the aforesaid hundred pounds to be equally divided between my son John and my son Solomon Sell; also one feather bed and oe milk cow, to her own use, besides her thirds, and all the rest and residue of my personal estate, together with all my real estate, I do hereby authorize and direct my executors to sell within the space of one year after my decease. Item - unto my son Lodowick Sell 240 pounds. Item - unto my son Abraham Sell 245 pounds. Item - unto my daughter Sofia, who married Frederick Ashbaugh, 105 pounds. Item - unto my grandson Abraham Brumbaugh, only child of my daughter, Ester, who married Conrad Brumbauch, the sum of 65 pounds...when he attains the age of twenty-one. And whereas my son Solomon Sell had six bonds of one hundred pounds each bond, and taken land for the said bonnds in the State of North Carolina from Henry Harklerode who stands indebted for said bonds. I give and bequeath unto my said son Solomon Sell one hundred pounds out of the said land... the land to be praised and equally divided...unto my sons, except Lodowick and Abraham, until their bequests are raised to 245 pounds. My son Solomon to receive an equal share...for his trouble and expenses he has been to recover and get the said land. William Herrick and son Solomon Sell were named Executors. Signed 7 January 1792, Anthony X Sell (his mark). On March 2, 1792, the will of Anthony Sell, deceased Yeoman, proved in court: his executors to file inventory on or before March 21, 1792.

BRAHAM SELLEN:
He was a Captain of York Co., Pennsylvania Infantry during the Revolutionary War. He was a large landowner and cabinet maker, he is buried in a marked grave at Christ Church Cemetery in Littlestown, PA.

He had a log cabin and a barn about one mile from his father's plantation, he lived there until he died.
