Looking through the census records and the book "The Descendants of Sgt. J. Nott", there is some confusion. According to the CT Nott Family file Stephen Frazier's descendency is as follows:

57. Stephen Frazier born 1792, married Myra Case. Stephen died 1881. (Source: CT Nott Family File)
children:
i George Frazier.
ii Stephen Nott Frazier.
iii Homer Frazier.
iv John Frazier.
v Charles Frazier.
vi Eliphalet Frazier.
vii Cestus Frazier.
viii Eliza Frazier

First off, He buries his wife, Abigail Mira, next to him. She is two years younger than him. However, In the 1830 & 1840 Census, the wife appears to be about 10 years younger. This may indicate that there were two wives. Myra Case & Abigail Mira. Between the 1830-1840 censuses the age of the wife changes. This would mean that Charles H. or Eliphalet W. was the first child of a second marraige. Only local Litchfield & HArtford Co. records will probably help here. They were living in New Hartford and Canton in those decades. By 1840 they are in PA and Abigail M. is consistently reporting her age until death, and claims to be born in CT. Charles & Eliphalet are CT born. ELiza is NY, Chester & Seth(not sure) are PA. So it could be that Myra Case dies about 1830-1832. Abigail marries him 1831-1833. By 1834 Eliza is born in NY and it is likely Abigail is the mother (since she is from CT too).

Eliphalet is the 6th child, but the birth year on his grave places him just 8 months before Homer Howard. The 1860 Census has Eliphalet living with his father and his aged in unmistakably 31 (born 1828-1929). If we assume that I misread the engraving of an 8 to be a 5, then this it still disagrees with the order in Nott file. The 1870 Census for E.W.Frazier has the birth at 1825--which agrees with the grave. He may have changed it over time, making himself older.
