5. MARY ANN3 GUENTHER (JEANETTE2 BAILEY, WILLIAM1 BALEY) was born 1861, and died 1934 in DeSoto, Mo.. She married NOAH DUGAN. He was born 1858, and died 1946.

ARY ANN GUENTHER:
Mary Ann always wore her hair in a tight little bun and she too wore long dresses down to her shoe tops. She smoked a corn cob pipe. She would often catch a ride or walk into DeSoto to sell her butter and eggs. Her son Albert was a cousin and good friend to Phillip Bailey. He and Phillip were in World War I together. Albert developed tuberculosis caused by the poison gas used in the war. Albert had been out west and came home to Mary Ann's. He had a little one-seated roadster car. He brought her to town one day and going home the car skidded in loose gravel and overturned killing Mary Ann. This was in 1934. Mary Ann is buried in Maness Cemetery in Fletcher, Mo. along with her husband and three children.

  Notes for GINERVA DUGAN:
Ginerva and her sister Jennie never married but lived together. The two old maids walked to town and sold eggs and butter just as their mother had. They also brought grapes and elderberries to sell in the summer. Jennie, Ginerva and Albert are all buried in Maness Cemetery in Fletcher, Mo.

  Notes for ALBERT DUGAN:
Albert was the cousin and good friend of Phillip Bailey. They went off to WWW I together were Albert developed tuberculosis caused by the poison gas used during the war. During the summer months they sold grapes and elderberries. Jennie Ginerva and their brother Albert are buried in Maness Cemetery in Fletcher, Mo.



6. EPHRAIM3 BAILEY (GEORGE WASHINGTON2, WILLIAM1 BALEY)1,2,3 was born 1852 in Missouri4, and died 1923 in Missouri. He married NANCY CATHERINE TYREY 07 Apr 1882 in Jefferson County, Mo., daughter of JACOB TYREY and SALISA. She was born 1860, and died 1919 in Missouri.

PHRAIM BAILEY:
Ephraim Bailey hated his name so much that he said he would rather be named after their dog. So from that day forward he was called Buck, after his dog.
