Notes for PETER HILDEBRAND:
The first record of a Hildebrand in America is that of Peter Hildebrand, listed on a Muster Roll of Militia in New Amsterdam, in 1689. He was there for three years, moved to Pennsylvania, and died at Minnesink Pennsylvania. His father was Andreas Hildebrand and may have been a German nobleman.
