Alfred Bailey was killed in the Civil war during the siege of Vicksburg. He was supposed to have been killed by a cannon ball to the stomach. He was buried in the National Cemetery in Vicksburg,Miss. Section G, Plot number 1404.
He married Mary Jane Smith on October 21st. 1852. Services were done by the Rev. Joseph Ficher. b.Oct. 02, 1833 d.June 09, 1863
