Revolutionary War Soldier, received land grant in 1790. Moved with his wife and son John, to Maysville, (then Limestone) Ky. Moses was a Sergeant of Cavalery in the Revolutionary War 3d Virginia Regiment, under Col. Daniel Morgan & Cpt. John Peyton. He was placed on pension roles in 1816 for actual service in the War of 1812.
