2. William Taylor² Hale (John Nathaniel¹) was born 1820, and died 1861 in Warren County, Tennessee. He married Eliza Adeline Elzie in Jun 29, 1843, daughter of William Elzie. She was born April 15, 1820 in Alabama, and died April 20, 1906.

Notes for William Taylor Hale:
William Taylor Hale drowned in the Collins River in 1861 when his sift capsized as he was crossing the river on his way to the mill. It was nine days before his body was found by Adeline who was on her way to the store and came across it lodged in a drift of brush. William Taylor Hale is buried in Shellsford Cemetery.
