Mary Ellett Lindsay married Ephraim Hester Freeman, Sr. near Norwood, East Feliciana, Louisiana. She was the daugter of George Matthew Lindsay and Ann Eliza Graves, and granddaughter of Samuel "Jim" Graves and Althea Eugenia Poole.
