Cherokee Hawkins, daughter of Col. Benjamin Hawkins and Lavinia Downs, married Lewis Lawshe in Georgia. She died at Water Valley, Yalobusha, Mississippi, where she was buried. Daughter of the Queen of Tuckabatchie (See "True Women")
