This site represents the families of: Philip Freimann, and Janice (Mc Guire) Freimann.
Philip's paternal grandparents and aunts came from the German Volga area of Russia: Katharinestadt, aka Baronsk, Marx and Marks. Hence he is a member of the "American Historical Society of Germans from Russia" and the "German Russian Heritage Society." He is extremely interested in researching the Germans in Russia to determine his original German ancestors: FREIMAN(N), DAIS, TRIPPEL, KOENIG.
His maternal lineage includes BLAISDELL's from Colonial America(1635) and England. He is very active in the "Blaisdell Family National Association," serving as President (2001-2005) and Genealogist (2005-2010). His maternal father's line includes TURNER's from Scotland and SIMM's from England.
Jan's roots have been more difficult to research. She was raised by foster parents from 6 months old. She knows, and has met her natural Mother on several occassions. Our daughter, Rebekah has made great progress on the McGUIRE and ORRIS lines.
We are happy to share any additional information we have. (Information displayed here is fairly bland to protect privacy).
