FRISBEE/FRISBY, Samuel. b abt1781 Flat Swamp, NC d. Oct 1, 1848 Hinds Co., Ms [wife: Possibly , CORNELIUS, Nancy]

BRADFORD, Thomas B abt 1757 , SC . Married Polly Mary HARGRAVES/HARGROVES, in Granville Co, NC.

NOTE!!!!!!! This Thomas BRADFORD --- IS NOT--- descended from Thomas Bradford, B1731 , D 1786. ,Granville Co NC. The Thomas who is desc. from the Granville Co, NC Bradfords married Eve Kearney and died in Franklin Co, NC . Please e mail me for the complete text of this extensive report.

The Thomas Bradford I am researching, moved from NC or SC to Baldwin Co and Putnam Co, GA abt 1808, in aabt 1818 to Clarke co , AL. There are 3 known sons, Brazil Ransom , Thomas Madison, and Nathaniel Thomas Bradford. Two known Daus. Alice (married James Savage) and Mary( married Andrew Deaton). I suspect there are more children .

This family was very mobile and several sons went to Leon Co, FL in 1825 and on to Clarke co, AL in 1833. They were very active in land deals and from indications in the records , very litigious with numerous suits for collection and foreclosure in GA, FL and AL.
James SAVAGE was clerk of court in Clarke co, AL 1822-1832 and the first clerk of court in Sumter Co, AL 1832-1838 (until his death).

PLAIR/PLAYER/PLAYR, Robert W, b Abt 1780? D., June 1814 at Pierces stockade ( near Ft Mims) , MS, TI. In service for the war of 1812. Wife , Mary, B abt 1786 NC, d. bef 1860 AR. Mary remarried, NEVILSNEVELS, Martin on Aug 21 1823 Jefferson Co., MS. Martin b Apr 19, 1777 in ? D. June 1838 Jefferson Co., MS . This family is believed to connect to SC, Greenville Branch of Players. Believed to be the Son of Robert Player, son of William Roger Player , bn Mar 16, 1738, and Mary Frierson , both of Charleston, SC.

WOLFE/WOLF, Phillip Newton D. 1830 Lancaster, SC (Mecklenburg, NC) D. Mar 11, 1865 Pine Bluff, AR. Wife: [MORGAN, Emeline b. Mar 9, 1833 SC d. Mar 21, 1908. Ebeneezer Cemetery, Bradley Co., AR] Couple married in Lafayette, MS.and descend from Johh Phillip Wolfe of Mecklenburg, NC

WOLFE/WOLF, John Philip b. Dec 23, 1770 Northampton Co., PA d. 1800-1810 Mecklenburg NC (Union Co). Wife: [STARNES, Elizabeth b? NC d? NC] Wolfe family originates in Alcase-Lorrine to Pennsylvania to NC/SC border area to MS (1840) to AR 1870, most all Mecklenburg NC, Northampton, PA and AR Wolfe's are related. I would like to hear from all who research these - my theory is they connect to Gov George Wolfe of PA from Drylands Church area of Northampton, PA (both Wolfe families were members at same time) and connect to EHRET and FILES/PFILES,(PA to NC with Wolfes) family which intermarried both Wolf clans.

RAPE, Mary b. 1795 SC d. before 1870? [Dau of RAPE, Peter, Sr b. 1760 PA d. 1161825 Mecklenburg, NC] married WOLFE, John b Apr 1795 Mecklenburg, NC d. bef 1860 Pontotoc, MS
Note: I have proven the connection between the AR and MS wolfes using the US census.
