| Ken(Charles K. Boone) and I are researching our families of Boone ,Branch,Biggs,Allen,Ash(e),Calloway,Carroll,Chapman,Chrissawn, Collins,Dancy,Dobson,Durham,Findley/Finley,Freeman,Friddle,Gaddy,Hickam,Howell,Hyatt,Hudson,Ingle,James,Jarvis/Jervis,Kelly/Kelley,Linn/Lynn,Mason,Mayfield,Porter, Silver,Steadman, Stivender/Stywinter and Wilson. All these folks ended up in either North or South Carolina. Ken's ancestor of note is Israel Boone,Daniel's brother, not his son. Israel-Jonathan-Thomas-Jonathan-Thomas-Charles Decester-Alvin Floyd-Ken. The first Thomas stayed in NC when all the rest of the Boones went with Daniel out west(Kentucky)! Thomas went to Burke Co.NC and then Yancey and there most of these Boones stayed. Ken's James' come to Pendleton District,SC about 1800, give or take a few years. The earliest James that we know of was Fielding James,1820 census was 45+yrs of age. My Ingles came from Madison County,NC(just next door to Yancey Co.)and the earliest one that I know was William Jacob Ingle who chose to fight for the Union, died at the 2nd Battle of Manasas, and was never spoken of again. He married Caroline Jervis d/o Eliphalet Jervis and Katherine Hickam. Any information on any family above would be appreciated and I will be glad to furnish any that I have in exchange.
