I am researching the Johan Diedrich Fricke family. He and wife Theresia Schuntzmeyed came to New Orleans, I believe by way of Ellis Island, around 1852. She was from Prussia. They were both born abt. 1829. Children were, John Diedrich,John Henry,Herman William,Catherina Elizabetha,Anna Maria,Michael Charles, and Mary.
In addition, I'm researching the family of Henry M. Topham, born 1812 in New York. He lived and died in Louisiana. He was first married to Uranie Broussard and then to Rachel Vining. Children were, William,Elizabeth,Arthur,Henry Jr,Thomas,Augustus,Caroline,
and Willie.
