I began this reseach some 4 years ago. I got started with the help of a second cousin, Cheryl Osterander, GreatGranddaughter of my Grandparents James W. and Inous Friends of Jackson Summit, Tioga Co. Pa. Illness slowed me down a lot in the last couple of years. At this time I am going ahead full steam to find what I can find concerning the Family and its name.
