Three McDonnell (McDonald) brothers came from Ireland: Anthony (born about 1835), John, and Michael (born about 1841). They married three Corcoran women (sisters?). Anthony McDonnell married Mary Corcoran (born about 1840) at St. Xaviers Catholic Church in StLouis Co. Missouri in 1862; John McDonnell married Nora Corcoran; Michael McDonnell married Kathryn Corcoran. The 1870 Iowa census reports Anthony and Michael were living there with their wives and several children. (Areas are Clinton and Vail) Several of the children moved to South Dakota as adults and married there. If you have any information, I would greatly appreciate it. I would be happy to share what I have.
