Hi,I am also know as "Bill"...I am researching my grandparents who came to the U.S. about 1881/82 from Germany.....
My grandfather Louis G. aka George L. b.June 27,1852.............
d.Nov.5,1915 in Owosso Mi. Married Amelia Johanna Friedica Pagel
May 13,1863 d.Sept.27,1923..both died in Owosso,Mi
They were married 1884 in Britton,Mi...I have most info following that marriage but would like what can be found before that marriage....
I understand grandfather was in the German Army prior to coming to the States..and also that he had a brother that went west(Wyo)?? prior to 1915...I am trying to verify this....It is possible that he was from the Stuttgart area of Germany....
