| I am looking for relatives that can trace their family back to John E. Brown ( and his parents) of New York. He was born in 1805. He married Margaret VanHouton on June 3, 1826. Their Children include: John Absalom, Henry John, Philip J., Rachel, Eliza, Lovina M. Susan E., Cyrus, Gehiel, Hester, Clarence and Seymour. Their son Henry John married Electa Jane Packard on May 14, 1856. One of their sons was Carroll Cyrus.b. May 5, 1859. He married Helen Loretta Vanderhoof. One of their sons was Marion Manson Brown. He was married twice. Once to Minnie Esther Burgess (where the surnames Edgecomb, Lumley, Lewis and Beebe come into the family). His second marriage was to Elizabeth (Bessie).
