Am trying to get any info on Frist-Lloyd-Tindall-Springer families from the Wilmington, DE area, approx. 1840's.Also: Boyd/Skidmore & Helt/Taylor from Ohio &/or Indiana.Any Frist from: Tennessee, Indiana, Ohio, Texas, Louisiana.Helt, Skidmore, & Ford families came to Vermillion Co., Indianaearly 1800's from Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, floating down the Cuyahoga & Ohio Rivers to Wabash River & up Wabash toVermillion Co. Would be glad to share any info that I should have..Have just recently found in "Ancestry.com" under the heading of : "Full Context of Pennsylvania Foreign Oaths of Allegiance" four (4) names going along with the Frist surname.Additional info is Quote: "LIST OF FOREIGNERSS IMPORTHD IN THE SHIP ST. ANDREW GALLEY, JOHN STEDMAN, MASTER, FROM ROTTKRKAM. QUALIFIED, SEPT. 24, 1737." The four names are: Jacob & Phillip Frist, & Frist Ebgent & Frist Wambold. My gr-gr-gr-gr-gr-grandfather was Rudolph Frist who married Susanna Bowman, & they had a son Henry Frist in 1758. Could the previously listed four be brothers &/or cousins to my Rudolph??? |
