| This page is devoted to the search of descendants of Sloan F. Frith, b abt. Aug. 1889, son of William A. and Olive "Ollie" Martin Frith. He was shown in the 1900 census as living at home with his parents in the Calhoun Mills Township, Abbeville Co., South Carolina. He was again shown in the 1910 census as living on the Lowndesville and Barnes Station Rd, Abbeville Co. and married to Maggie McNair, daughter of John C. and Martha Bradshaw McNair. They are shown as being childless, but had an adopted son Samuel Frith. On June 04, 1913,a son was born, my father, John Henry Frith. Somewhere between 1913 and Oct. 06,1917 Sloan and Maggie parted ways and all contact with Sloan was lost. Sloan had brothers, James Orr b. May 1886, William J."Will" b.Nov.1883, and sisters, Mary M. b.Dec.1881, Olly Lugene b.abt.1877,Mary, b.abt.1876, and Isabel b. abt 1875. Sloan may have worked with the railroad somewhere around 1927-1928 as others had a similar occupation. Any and all information will be greatly appreciated and am willing to share any and all that I have. |
