Updated September 6, 2000John Tisdale, born 1698, and Mary Martha removed from Chesterfield County, Virginia to Clarendon, Claremont County, CCamden District (now Sumter) South Carolina, taking with them a daughter Martha Moline, who married a Mr. Smith, and two sons - James, and John, born 20 Febuary 1730 in Virginia. After the Revolutionary War James settled in Williamsburg County, South Carolina, John in sumter, South Carolina.I would like to find out who John Tisdale of 1698 parents were! If you have any information on this line please let me know. |
