| I am researching the FROUD's in Notre Dame Bay, Newfoundland. Here are the basic names in my family tree: My father Winston FROUD b Dec. 1942. His parent's are Arthur FROUD b July 1908 and Alfreda WHEELER b 1909. Arthur Froud's parents were John W. FROUD b May 1863 and Lucy PELLY b May 1870. John Froud's mother was Polly FROUD. Lucy Pelly's parents were John PELLY and Emma BAKER. Alfreda Wheeler's parents were Samuel WHEELER b March 1883 and Mary (CLEMENTS-not sure) b May 1883. Samuel Wheeler's parents were Jacob WHEELER b Nov. 1844 and Mary-Ann b Dec. 1850. Mary Clemense's parents were William CLEMENTS and Elizabeth. The Froud's lived in T'gate, the Wheeler's lived in Summerford and Tizzards Harbour and the Clemense's were from White Bay.Other names of interest are ADEY, LAMBERT, MITCHELL, and PRICE.On my mom' side I am doing the names O'HARA from Ireland, CAMPBELL from Scotland, VOLAINE I think from France and EAGLESTONE from England.Any information would be appreciated and I will gladly share any that I have. |
