This page is being dedicated to all the Frykman/Fryckman Families and their relatives.I hope you will find great joy in learning the ancestry of your family, and perhaps you can provide some of the important dates and places that are missing from these materials. With the beginning of the Lars Larsson and Kersten Olsdotter marriage inSweden, to John(Jan)Larsson Frykman and his wife Cajia Hagstrom and their large family in northern Minnesota, it is a pleasure to be able to add more information to this great historical genealogy. Should some of you question a difference in the spelling of the last name, it was due to the change made by Oscar Emanuel Frykman in about 1939.Whatever possessed him to change, I am not sure, as I see the name spelled differently in marriages, deaths and in the census records. My brother Stanley was born Frykman, and died as Frykman, the rest of us were Frykman and became Fryckman's. Wilfred is the only one of the Family who kept the Frykman spelling. It does not in anyway change the genealogy of the family of Frykman/Fryckman, except to add paragraphs between our names. The Family Name of the De Mars and the Tischer's are genealogy of Adell Tischer Fryckman, the wife of Oscar E. Frykman/Fryckman, and they are now being updated with a gracious thanks to Gail and Steve DeBoer who supplied Faith Frykman with these wonderful bits of information. This is a great accomplishment, and I am grateful to them. I have now been working on this for nine years, and I am very happy at what I was able to accomplish. I hope this work will give others the opportunity to complete their own Family Genealogy. I couldn't go on without getting into the other side of the Family, so I have presented the Family of my dear Mother, Ellen Elizabeth Rushlow Fryckman. You will find the Riley's and theO'Brien's, The Rushlow's and The Schoen families neatly interwoven. The O'Brien's and the Riley's came from County Cork, Ireland, and the Rushlow Family from France. As I have progressed into this fascinating project, I marvel at the depth in which we preserve our memories. I have now addedmy husbands side of the family. The Froemming Family, The Grulke Family and The Waldow Family consist of German Ancestry. I am sure you will recognize some of your relatives names. I must give special thanks to a few other people who have been kind enough to offer their genealogical information. I wish to show my appreciation to Laurel Holland and her mother Donna Olson, who have been working on genealogy for twenty-five years. They have contributed to the John(Jan)Larsson Frykman genealogy, and haveexpertly coordinated the genealogy on the The Knaeble Family. A special thanks goes to Kay Knaeble who has provided information on other members of the Knaeble Family. I am so grateful to have had David Frykman for support, as well as his collection ofthe materials he has provided. Thanks David for all your time and the confidence you have given me. Had it not been for you, I would never have begun this great project. It is with great satisfaction to have met another member of the Lars Larsson and John (Jan) Frykman ancestors. I am pleased to be able to add the descendants names of the Amelia (Emchi)Frykman family. This great find was due to the dedication of a young man named Professor Jeffrey D. Gordon. Jeff has contributed his Family Genealogy to the Web also. To Andrew A Behling,a perfectionist in the field of research and detail, I offer my special thanks for your excellent work on The Grulke Family. Well done young man. This Family has reunions every other year in Wisconsin. With the love of a wonderful family that has given me beautiful memories, and a desire to coordinate this knowledge, I am now able to share these great notes with you.God Bless you all. This Genealogy is being Dedicated to my Beloved Parents, Manley D. and Ellen Fryckman
