We have recently published a family history, CHRISTOPHER AND CATHARINE MCRAE. This a 445 page book about Christopher McRae and his wife Catharine McLeod with a 20 page index and about 100 pictures plus copies of many documents. They were born in Scotland in 1755 and 1766 and moved to America in late 1700's. Christopher served in the Revolution in NC. They married in about 1788 and had nine children while living in the area of the PeeDee River. This is the story of them and their descendants as they moved first to SC, then to GA & FL, with many of the family returning to NC. We are willing to share information and are interested in learning more about their life in Scotland. Feel free to contact us.
