| Johannes Fuchs arrived New York via Le Havre,France on Oct. 3, 1864. He migrated to Louisville, Kentucky, married Benedicta Schoenbachler and began his family. We believe he was born in Bern, Switzerland or, possibly a small mountain town, Einsiedeln. He was born Jul 19, 1847 and died Sep 17,1877. I am unable to trace his heritage beyond 1864. He may have had a brother named Thomas who also lived in Louisville. I am looking for information about his parents, any other siblings, etc. Any help would be appreciated. I will gladly share information I have. |
