My mother and daddy were the parents of ten children. These ten children have now grow into a family of around 100. Including husband's wife's,children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.I thought I had better get this on record while I still have some of my senses about me.It has grown much larger than I intended for it to be. I have several articles from different individuals on the Escue's and Darnall's or Darnell's. I am in the process of putting this all together so everyone can have a copy. Anyone out there that is related to any Darnall or Escue please let me hear from you to see if you have additional information. Edward Darnall came from London, England to Maryland in 1688. I know there's more information from England where we are related to Lord Baltimore. The Escue's and Darnall's are related in a couple of different ways. One being my grandparents Thomas Escue and Kate Ella Darnall were first cousins. He was from Sumner Co. Gallatin, Tenn. She was from Franklin, Lousiana, and came to visit her uncle Francis, or "Frank" as he was called. She fell in love with Uncle Frank's eldest son Tom. I do not have as much on the Escue's. I've always heard if it is spelled Escue you are all related. If anyone has any additional information on the Escue's or Darnall's I would appreciate it. We'll get this puzzle peaced together as much as possible,so everyone can get a copy. We may have to charge enough to cover cost. Thanks for your help. Carolyn Escue Fugate. |
