| I am researching the names Hans Wilhelm Fulster (the son) and Karl Wilhelm Fuelster (the father) of Schleswig Holstein, Germany. They both came to America with Hans dropping the umlaut over the letter u, and living in New York. His father Karl Wilhelm Fuelster added an e after the u, when he dropped the umlaut, to keep the same sound as in Germany. Karl was also known as Carl and lived in Davenport, Iowa. Carl had two other children Frieda Fuelster Bootz and Carl Fuelster. Carl and Frieda's mother was Frieda Hinz Fuelster. Hans Fulster's mother was Marie Rohde of Meldorf, Schleswig Holstein, Germany. Names that I am researching include Anna Katherine Behrens (b 1871);Anna Thiesen (b. 1803); Johann Rohde (b 1796); Hans Jacob Rohde (b 1833 or 34); Wilhelm Rohde (b 1866); Anna Hein (b 1842); Anna Katherine Behrens (b 1871); Claus Behrens (b 1841); Anna Aherns (b 1846); Cacilie Wiese (b 1854); Abel Kruse (b 1811)of which Germany, especially Meldorf and Buchholz, Germany figure prominately. I am also researching Robert Ford Fisher (b 1884); John Fisher (b 1828?? and died at Blackwell's Island, NY on March 10, 1886); Frances Whelan (b 1865-68); Mabel Pfeiffer (b. 1894); William Ernst Pfeiffer (b 1872); Elizabeth Hall (b 1875);James Whelan (b 1837, Fermoy, Ireland); Ellen Ford (b 1839, Fermoy, Ireland); Margaret and Joanna Egan of Fermoy, Ireland; Henry Borngaesser(born in Germany); Elizabeth Borngaesser (b 1833);Philip Fredrich Pfeiffer (b 1836 and died Soldiers Home, Ohio 1916); Jacob Meldnor Pfeiffer (1808 in Lochgau, Germany); Elizabeth Hall (b 1875); Elizabeth Roston (b 1852); Grear Rolston (1814/15 in Ireland); Samuel Hall (b 1849); Thomas Hall (born Scotland); Rebecca Martin (b 1822?, Ireland). Unless stated otherwise, these people were born in NY. Robert Ford Fisher (b April 5, 1884, New York, New York and died May 27, 1939 in Fordham Hospital in the Bronx) was also married to a Mary Moran and had possibly four children. Mary Moran was born about 1881 and died in January 1954. Mary Moran and Robert Ford Fisher are both interred at Calvary Cemetary, Woodside, NY. Frances Whelan married three times. John Fisher (died 1886 at Blackwell's Island); James Powers (b November 1871?) had children Ella Powers Martin (b 1896?)and had a child Dolly, Ethel Powers Santiago and Reginald. Reginald died at Paris Island while in the Marines and was married to Emma. Frances then married Joseph Ryan and had three children James (b 1888), Frances (b1890) and Joseph. I have one branch of the Fisher family (the Pfeiffer's back to the late 1500's in Lochgau, Germany). I am researching in Germany, Ireland, New York, Iowa, Illinois, Scotland...
