Guy Sheridan was a hard working man,from his youth until his retirement.
His skills of tossing a horseshoe,or playing pool or snooker ,were some of his greatest accomplishments.
He had a hard life working on farms most of his youth;moving to Muscatine Iowa where he was employed by the Grain Processing plant as Night Security Guard,later working for H.J. Hienz Co as Security Watchman.He fathered eight children,four daughters and four sons.He was born the son of Phillip Sheridan and Flora Belle Brown Fuller.He had a half brother Carl Brown, sister Phyllis and younger brother Orvie Phillip Fuller.They lived and worked the farms of western Illinois ,Mercer and Rock Island counties while in their youth.(Eliza,Eliza township,New Boston,Illinois City)

Velma Ella Spitznogle was born one of eleven children.She was the fourth child; born June 20,1903 in Drury township,Rock Island Co.IL,She died of leukemia December 28,1977;Age at death 74 yrs 7 mths 8 dys.
She was a loving mother and friend to all of her children.
She is buried at Bloomington Friends Church,Muscatine ,Iowa beside her Husband,Guy Sheridan Fuller.Their union brought about four sons,and four daughters.

Guy Edward Fuller was the first born child of Guy Sheridan and Velma Ella Spitznogle Fuller.I have pictures of brother "Sam" a nick name given to him by a former Navy buddy,from his youth through his High School Days.Given to me from Mother's family picture album.He served in the Navy during the close of World War II,seeing action in both the South Pacific and North Africian theaters.He returned to Muscatine to marry Donna Gentzler on My birthday,July 16.He currently lives in Muscatine,Iowa.
