John Drew Blaisdell was born about 1774 in Maine.He married Olive Horsum Blaisdell in Jay Maine.They had nine children;seven girls and two sons.They lived in the Jay,Maine area until his death Sept 1834.Shortly after his death Olive moved her family of seven daughters and two sons along with their respective families to Mercer Co.Ill.His marker reads: In Memory of

He is buried near the left rear section of the original Stubbs Mill Cemetery,Jay,Maine.
