Nancy Shroyer Rice Spitsnogle was born about June 8,1814 in Connellsville,Fayette Co,Penna.Her first husband died and she remarried George Spitsnogle from Germantown,Uniontownship,Pa.They were married in Union County,Liberty,Indiana They raised several children.About 1853 they journeyed to Mercer ,ILL.Soon after they relocated to Louisa Co,Toolsboro,Iowa where they took up a homestead and prospered as farmers.Many of their line are still living in Louisa and Muscatine Co,Iowa.
She is buried next to her husband ,George Spitsnogle.at Parsons Cemetery ,Toolsboro,Louis Co,Iowa.
