Lived in Illinois most of his life.Married Velma Ella Spitznogle Oct 14,1919 in Muscatine,Iowa.
Raised eight children;four sons;Guy Edward,Ronald Gerald,Harold Walter,Sammy(Sam)Ross,and four daughters;Carol Velma,Freda Arlene,Alice Joan,and Flora NeVada.
