Jefferson Fuller ,son of Ezra & Avis Fuller;Born Sept 22,1811 in Jay,Maine to Ezra & Avis Briggs Fuller.He moved to Mercer County Ill. after his father Ezra died in 1842.He settled the estate and along with his wife Tabitha Libby came to Illinois in the Fall of 1842 Staying near Joliet for the winter.Story about their venture can be found on his line. Tabitha died possibly in childbirth,he later remarried the widow Elizabeth Blaisdell Downs.She is buried near Jefferson at the Aledo Cemetery,Mercer Co,Ill.He was a very prosperous farmer of his time.Dates on their stone:Jefferson born sept 22,1811 died Feb 4,1899;Elizabeth
