This is probably Margaret Erwin SHEWELL, daughter of Henry SHEWELL and Mercy HAZEN.
Margaret SHEWELL married Samuel REDFIELD in 1816. They lived in Randolph, Portage County, Ohio. They were one of the areas earliest pioneers. Samuel was the first man in the county to volunteer for the War of 1812, and he was captured after Hull surrendered at Malden.
