Peter CARL, died from wounds received in the Battle of Gettysburg, 1863.
Peter CARL was the son of Samuel and Eve CORL. Peter lived in East Liberty, Summit (then Stark) County, Ohio. He married Lavina KEPLER in 1862, just days before he went to battle in the Civil War. He never met his baby, Peter Jr, born March of 1863. Peter died in at the hospital at St. David's Island, New York Harbor, NY from wounds he received at the Battle of Gettysburg.
