| I am Sandra the wife of Benjamin (Ben) Ellsworth Fuqua Jr. It has been fun working on his family line and I still have a lot to look for. I have been able to follow his Fathers line back to France. I am having trouble getting past Huguet Fouquet in the late 1300 but I know it is out there somewhere. I am Also working on his mothers line (Rohath) but am not sure if they Americanized Rohath when they came to the USA but so far I don't think so. Ben's mother, Susan, changed her name from Josvouna or Josvoana sometine after the 1920 Census of Minnesota, to Susanne and later went by Sue or Susan. I sometimes think we both have some ET's in our family as my side (Goble) and His mothers (Rohath) just go so far and then seem to vanish! |
