She married GEORGE BRETZIUS April 04, 1835 in Pine Grove Twp., Schulykill Co., PA, son of GEORGE BRETZIUS and CATHARINA. He was born September 21, 1808 in Wayne Twp., Schuylkill Co., PA, and died October 16, 1871 in Schuylkill Haven, Schuykill Co., PA.

George was Baptized on Sept. 28, 1808 at St. John Lutheran and Reformed Church in Friedensburg, Schuylkill Co. His sponsor was Catharina Ernst.

George was primarily a woodsman, engaged in the preparation of timber for the mills. Politically he was a Democrat, with an ordinary interest in the welfare of his Party. His marriage to Hannah yielded them three sons and five daughters. They were members of St. John's Lutheran Church in Friedensburg, Schulykill Co.

Notes for RUBEN BRETZ:
He was baptized on July 10, 1836 at the St. John's Lutheran and Reformed Church, in Friedensburg, Schulykill Co.

He moved to Cressona in 1858, where he resided until his demise. He was engaged in Railroading, his entire life, on the Mine Hill branch of the Philadelphia and Reading Railroad. He was promoted until he became engineer. He was killed in an accident at the Mine Hill Crossing in 1886. He was a Democrat, and a member of the United Brethren Church, a devoted and conscientious member.
