He married Mary Brown born in Onslow County. They left North Carolina and settled in Rural Barton , Jefferson County, Georgia. He was a farmer and was affiliated with the Southern Baptist. He was listed in the 1840 through 1870 Census of Onslow County.He did not appear in the 1880 Census, so he probably died sometime after 1870. He lived with his family in the Back Swamp area of Onslow County and was in the terpentine business. About 1835 he married Theresa (Thursa) Scarber born about 1816. On 11-9-1888 in Onslow County he married Leah Williford born 1863 daughter of Mike and Annie Williford of Onslow. They lived in the Richlands Section of Onslow. Leah died 2-22-1918 at the age of 55 years old and is buried near Catherine Lake, Onslow County. NOTE: It is believed by this writer that Frank was married three times. In the Census of 1880 he is listed as living with his parents and record states also living there were Mary S. age 27, wife of Frank and Cyrus Futrell 4 months old, son of Frank. There is a marriage record that states on 9-14-1918 that Frank Futrell married Rebecca E. Davis 24 daughter of Elijah and Elizabeth Davis. Marriage bond signed by Charles Williford. Anne died 5-30-1893 and is buried in Futrell Graveyard. After Anne died, William Ira married Eliza Ellen Lanier born 2-27-1859 and died 2-17-1936 former wife of Tom Lanier and was a daughter of James A. Brown and wife. Anne and William Ira had seven children and William Ira and second wife had three children. William Ira died 2-17-1925.
