Notes for Pasquale Antonio Francescone: Pasquale Antonio, at the age of 16 joined the Merchant Navy. He was adopted by his mother, Anna von Braun's second husband, and enlisted as Anthony Ford. When his tour was completed he legally changed his name back to Francescone, but translated it to the English version - Patrick Anthony. He is affectionately known as Tony. He was involved in WW11 and thanks to his brother Orvell he finally received the medals he was entitled to. Among them are the Atlantic Star and the Pacific Star.
