Researching the ancestors and descendents of Amund and Karen Fyksen.Amund came to this country from Norway in 1884, Karen arrived in 1887. In the early 1900's they owned a farm in Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. They had 7 children; Anna, Johan, George, Martin, Caroline, Alfred, and Edward. I'm trying to find descendents of Amund and Karen to share information with. I also want to find out where Amund and Karen lived before they left Norway. If you have anything to add, or pointers to research help, please contact me. I'm doing this research strictly to satisfy my own curiosity, not for monetary gain. I'll share the info I have with anyone else that wants to research the Fyksen name. |
