MARIE WAMBERGUE, NORMAN KETTLER NUPTIALS TODAY
Miss Marie Wambergue, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Moise Wambergue o f 1722
Kinsella Avenue, will become the bride of Norman L. Kettler, son of M r. and
Mrs. Ed. Kettler of 213a Wabash Avenue, this evening, at 6 o'clock i n the
parsonage of the First Baptist Church. Rev. Russell Phillips will of ficiate at
the double ring ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. Hobart Kettler will be the attendants.
The bride will be attired in a white two-piece frock, with matching
accessories. She will wear a corsage of red roses. Mrs. Kettler wil l also
wear white with black accessories and her corsage will also be compos ed of red
roses.
Following the ceremony a reception will be held in the home of th e bride's
parents.
Miss Wambergue, a graduate of Notre Dame Academy is employed by the
Southwestern Bell Telephone Company.
Mr. Kettler attended Belleville Township High School and is employ ed at the
Peerless Enamel Company. The couple will reside at 222 South 18th St reet.

NORMAN WAMBERGUE
Norman Wambergue, 66, of Belleville, Ill., born Sept. 18, 1931, i n Swansea, Ill., died Sat., Aug. 8, 1998, at Memorial Hospital, Belle ville, Ill.
Mr. Wambergue was a retired electrician from Union Electric at th e Rush Island Power Plant. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church , Belleville, Ill., and the Swansea Improvement Association.
Mr. Wambergue was preceded in death by his parents, Moise and Lore tta, nee Gabel, Wambergue; and a brother, Al Wambergue.
Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Norma, nee Ladewig, Wambergue , whom he married June 26, 1954; a daughter, Laura (Ronald) Reisa o f Lebanon, Ill.; a son, Kevin (Gayle) Wambergue of Belleville, Ill. ; a sister, Marie Burdell of Belleville, Ill.; and three grandchildre n, Ryan Wambergue, Lindsay Wambergue, and Caitlin, Reisa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Chu rch.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, 19 98, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill., and fro m 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, 1998, at Zion Lutheran Church , Belleville, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug . 12, 1998, at Zion Lutheran Church Belleville, Ill., with the Rev. G ary Byers officiating. Entombment will be in Valhalla Mausoleum, Bel leville, Ill.

RICHARD GABEL, SR. - Richard L. Gabel, Sr., 60, of Groton, Conn .,
formerly of Belleville, Ill., died Wednesday, March 11, 1992 at the G roton
Submarine Base Hospital, Groton, Conn.
He was an Electrical Tech. Writer for General Dynamics in Groton , Conn., a
Navy Veteran of 20 years and a 10 year veteran of Fleet reserves.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward J. Gabel; and a dau ghter,
Katie Gabel.
Surviving are his wife, Jennie L., nee Dittle, Gabel; a son and fi ve
daughters, Diane Galligan of Belleville, Richard L. Gabel, Jr. and wi fe, Kelli
of Gloucester, Va., Ruth and David Blue of Fayetteville, Ill., Susa n and Earl
Mullaney of Groton, Conn., Julie and Tony Parks of Effingham, Ill., P atricia
and Vance Cole of Abilene, Texas; mother, Esther T., nee Brochetto, G abel of
Swansea; two sisters, Jeanine and Richard Watts of Coulterville, Illi nois, Lynn
Fulte of Belleville; eight grandchildren, Jaime and Jill Mullaney, Da vid and
Katie Blue, Michael and Katie Galligan, Ellen and Mollie Gabel; Aunts , Uncles,
Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Pete Gaer dner
Funeral Home in Belleville, with Fr. James Blazine officiating. Inte rment will
be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Belleville.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
There will be a Prayer Service held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, at the Pe te
Gaerdner Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Southeastern Conn., Montaw k Ave.,
