User Home Pages: For our Children's Children: from Lora, Curt, Linda & Granny
For this is Wisdom; to love, to live, To take what Fate, or the Gods, may give, To ask no question, to make no prayer, To kiss the lips and caress the hair, Speed passion's ebb as you greet its flow,- To have, - to hold,- and, -in time,-let go! This information wouldn't be here without the extensive work done also by my mother, my brother, Curt, and my sister, Linda, as well as others in our family generations back who also had an interest in genealogy.I'm lucky.Ours is the type of family that has hung onto old letters, photos, documents and diaries.Besides providing much of the statistical information given here, these papers from the past have given me a glimpse of who many of these people were, their passions, joys, struggles and sorrows. In researching this family tree I feel as though I've lived a hundred lives..... Much of the information is also the result of the hard work and generousity of other people who've posted their findings on the internet.I've tried, when possible, to verify their material, occasionally I'd find an error, and some things had to take on faith. I'm grateful and hope this helps someone else in turn. Here is the result of our research (still being conducted!) on the Craig, Wheatley, Connett, Martin and Holcomb Family. | For our Children's Children: from Lora, Curt, Linda & Granny Updated September 5, 2000 |
