My Genealogy Home Page

Last Christmas my sister Kristen gave me a family tree software package. I put it on the back shelf for several months until I went to my uncle, Rev. Ronald Gaesser's 45th year anniversary of celebrating Mass. There, I saw family I hadn't seen in upto two decades. Many people took pictures and shared them via e-mail. I even recieved pictures of relatives taken over fifty years ago.
At this same time I started recieving pictures of my grandfather Paul Hackett's brothers and sisters and even my great-grandfather Frank Hackett's brothers and sisters. This reminded me of the audio tapes I made back in the 1980's of reminisces of my grandfather Paul Hackett, his sister Myra Kerner, and his brother David Hackett, and what it was like growing up on the Oatka Trail, NY on a tennant farm.
All this rich imformation spurred me onto create this website for myself, my sister and everyone who shares an ancestorial connection with me. Thanks everyone for all your help for without it this project would never have taken place. Sincerely- Liesl A Gaesser
