| I'm researching my paternal ancestors as follows: GAFFNEY, Bernard; Michael; Bernard Joseph; Edward Joseph; Nashua, NH, post-Civil War to 1953. MORAN, MCCAULEY, MURRAY (spouses) same era, location. Also looking for information to confirm epidemic (possibly tuberculosis) in New England in early to mid-1880's and information about Irish immigrants in Nashua during and after the US Civil War. Information about where naturalization papers would have been filed for Nashua / Hillsborough County immigrants would be helpful. In addition, I am searching the ancestry of my maternal grandfather, William Thomas STONE, an English soldier, who married Margaret Florence BOUDREAU/BUDRO, possibly in Nova Scotia, Canada. Their daughter, Anne Elizabeth STONE (my mother) was born in Hebron, Nova Scotia, on June 3, 1914. William reportedly died in June 1916 during World War I. Margaret and Anne reportedly immigrated to the US in late 1915. Any information would be appreciated. I am willing (even anxious) to share any information I've compiled. |
