| I am just starting the search and am looking for information on the following surnames; Gaffney, Watts, Marshall, Wilson, Hess, Fuller, Linderman and Peake (so far).These names had ended up in the western region of New York state by the mid 1800's and later.Relatives who had done research previously had traced us back to Sir Isaac Watts, the hymn writer (b:1674 - d:1748) in England, and Colonel Peake who fought in the Civil War.I am missing much information in between and the notes from my relatives has been since lost.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Please also view my report and tree attached to this home page. | The Gaffney-Marshall Family Home Page Updated September 6, 2000 |
