Our family history was started by my husband's uncle, Robert Townsend Gagnon (1915-1989), who spent years traveling, gathering and compiling much of this family history. His research links to Mayflower descendents and King Edward I of England. He then typed the information he gathered on a manual typewriter. His enthusiasm inspired me to carry on where he left off, adding families as we grow.

Some of the surnames included are: GAGNON, SPONAUGLE, HEYKE, VANAMAN, MONTMINY, BISHOP, MALLOW, NELSON, SMITH, GRUNAU, CHIDESTER, HOCKENBERRY, and KETTERMAN. There are many others.
