* The Kenneth J. Galdon Family Home Page*

Updated September 5, 2000

I am trying to research the GALDON family who settled in Bayonne, NJ in the early 1880's. The best approximation I have is based on some newspaper articles at time of death. Joseph Galdon was married to Mary Rijak. The family was considered Slavic and was to have come from the Austrian/Hungarian border. German, Slovak and English were the languages spoken in their home. Four surviving children Mary(Mamie), Andrew, Stephen and George, lived in Bayonne and except for Mary, spent a lifetime there. Mary moved to Manville, NJ and then to Arlington, Va.Any info would be greatly appreciated and I would be happy to get info by fax or e-mail. NOTE: An Hispanic name either the same or close too ours has arisen in research, but, to our knowledge, does not compute. Thanks in advance for any help! Further details on request.
