My search is mostly for the Gallagher side of the family. James Gallagher left County Tyrone in Ireland to Glasgow presumably in the 1840s. His son, James, came to New Jersey in 1875 at the age of 17. He married Ellen McGinnis and lived in Paterson, New Jersey.
I have the elder James married to Mary Mclaughlin who was from Tyrone as well. Her mother was living with them in the 1860s. I would love to get more information on the Gallaghers and McLaughlins. One source has a James Gallagher from Clonfeacle in Tyrone. His father would be Daniel and married to a Mallon.
