The James Goree Moore's of Tulsa, OK

This project explores the geneaology and life stories of the James G Moore and Virgene M Allen Family. The journey takes many directions through the years. We begin with Jim's paternal grandparents William Christian Moore and Serepta Amanda Horton who lived in Willis Tx (~1860) and his maternal grandparents James Lockhart and Julia Emma Abbott who married in Alabama(May,25, 1851)and lived in Montgomery, TX. Virgene's paternal grandparents were Daniel Allen (born in Scotland, died July 1902)and his wife Margaret (maiden name might have been Bell) who lived in Chesley, Ontario. Her maternal grandparents were Andrew McLellan (1832-1916) of Nova Scotia and Louisa McCarty of Thamesford, Ontario. They lived in Lucknow, Ontario. To date, the newest member of the family is Elliot James Konefal, my grandson!
